The best part of my job apart from tasting all the food, is the travel and food stories where I get to meet local producers and discover new products. Waiheke is the most beautiful island in the Hauraki Gulf and was voted one of the top 20 islands in the world by Conde Nast Traveller in 2016. I count myself very fortunate to live so close to this island, a 35 minute ferry trip away. I was commissioned by Taste magazine to photograph Waiheke Honey Company, a small family run company who produce beautiful organic honey with a Palm beach backdrop that is just breathtaking.
